A change in weather...

I've been remiss in my blogging. Life is busy and monsoon is now a memory. Before it becomes a distant memory, I'd better post some photos I've snapped.

Walk to school on what Emily and I
term a "water park day."

Looking back down from where we came.

Emily approaching the waterfall on the last leg of our
commute. No matter how protected we are, we still
get soaked.

Water pulsing down from the High School onto the roof
of a car park.

Skies clearing briefly to reveal the distant hills.

Layers of foothills to the east.

Morning commute on a brighter Monsoon day.

Green walls.

Brown ferns! A harbinger of clear, dry skies.

Mussoorie at night.

Huge clouds as monsoon ends. I've never seen such
dynamic clouds as those that engulf the Himalaya.

The last two weeks have brought unending sunshine - a welcome change! Spirits are high, cheeks are pink, and mold is disappearing.

De-molding everything in the house.

Moldy shoes (and a passport) out to dry.

Isn't de-molding fun?

One of the many reasons I've been remiss
in blogging.
This weekend i leave for a week of trekking with Grade 10 students. Sunshine and mountains - I'm excited.
