Mamallapuram

Mamallapuram, also called Mahabalipuram, (or, for our purposes, any variation of Mammamalllalaamammapuram), is one of the only tourist beach destinations on the eastern coast. I can safely say that Mama-la-la-la-puram is cool for historic sites and Croc Bank, not for the beach. Croc Bank is ridiculous. Definitely recommended if you want to see more crocodiles at once then you ever thought possible, or if you are, like me, a lover of hand-painted signs.

Shore Temple.

Our ridiculously dramatic tour guide.
I opted out and sketched instead.

Krishna's Butter Ball. I don't understand Hinduism.

I like when historic sites include exploring.
